After you've gone around four times, you go to the cards in the center that you set aside earlier. For the six cards on their sides, choose one side (top or bottom of each pair) to be the "take" side, and the other the "give" side. Start with one pair, and flip over the card. Whoever has that card, disregarding suit obviously, you either take or give five drinks in the first pair, six in the next, and seven in the thrid. For the very last card, the grand finale, if you have it, you take eight.
We have also played where each pair is worth giving or taking half a beer, and the final card is a full beer, just depends on who you are with and how much they can drink.
