- 3/4 oz Orange Curacao
- 3/4 oz Rum
- 3/4 oz Spanish Brandy
- 1 1/2 oz (fresh) Orange Juice
Bull's Blood Instructions
Bull's Blood is a classic cocktail that combines the flavors of gin, vermouth, and beet juice. The deep red color of this drink is reminiscent of a bull's blood, hence the name. This unique cocktail is sure to be a crowd-pleaser at any gathering.
To make a Bull's Blood cocktail, you will need a cocktail shaker, ice cubes, a mixing glass, a strainer, and a martini glass. Start by filling the cocktail shaker with ice cubes. Then, add 2 ounces of gin and 1 ounce of dry vermouth to the shaker. Next, pour in 1 ounce of beet juice.
Close the cocktail shaker and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds to mix the ingredients together and chill the drink. Once done, strain the cocktail into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a small beet slice or a twist of lemon peel, if desired. Serve and enjoy!
