Egg Cream Instructions
The Egg Cream is a classic New York City cocktail that has been enjoyed for generations. Despite its name, it does not contain any eggs or cream. Instead, it is made with just three simple ingredients: milk, seltzer water, and chocolate syrup. The result is a frothy and refreshing drink that is perfect for hot summer days or any time you need a little pick-me-up.
- Pour about 1/4 cup of chocolate syrup into a tall glass.
- Add 1/4 cup of cold milk to the glass.
- Fill the rest of the glass with seltzer water, leaving a little room at the top.
- Using a long spoon, stir the mixture vigorously until well combined and frothy.
- Enjoy immediately with a straw or spoon.
Best served in a Highball Glass.
