Kiltlifter

Kiltlifter Instructions
The Kiltlifter cocktail is a classic Scottish drink that combines flavors of Scotch whisky, ginger beer, and a hint of lemon. This refreshing and slightly spicy beverage is perfect for any occasion, whether you're celebrating St. Patrick's Day or just looking for a unique twist on a traditional cocktail.
To make the Kiltlifter, start by filling a highball glass with ice cubes. Pour in 2 ounces of Scotch whisky, such as Glenfiddich or Highland Park. If you prefer a milder flavor, you can also use blended Scotch whisky.
Next, add 4 ounces of ginger beer to the glass. Ginger beer is a non-alcoholic carbonated drink that has a slightly spicy and sweet taste. It pairs perfectly with the smoky flavors of the Scotch whisky.
Squeeze in the juice of half a lemon to give the cocktail a refreshing and tangy flavor. Stir gently to combine all the ingredients together.
Finally, garnish the Kiltlifter with a lemon slice and a sprig of fresh mint. These garnishes not only add a pop of color to the drink but also enhance the overall taste and aroma.
Serve the Kiltlifter immediately and enjoy its complex flavors. The smoky Scotch whisky, spicy ginger beer, and tangy lemon create a harmonious blend that will delight your taste buds. Cheers!
Best served in a Old-Fashioned Glass.
